Science
Science at Cromer aims to foster an inquiring mind in all of our students and help make them scientifically literate citizens of society.
All students in Years 7 through 10 study Science. In these years, the Science course consists of units of work covering all of the major branches of Science (biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, geology, ecology). All units of work build upon the students’ prior scientific knowledge and understanding and challenges them with new ideas and ways to explain the world around them. Students are also encouraged to obtain the greatest practical experience possible through the use of experimental equipment and practical activities.
In Years 11 and 12, the following courses are offered:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Earth and Environmental Science
- Senior Science
Students in senior years generally choose to study one or more of the available Science subjects.
